LAFARGEHOLCIM AWARDS FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION

Marcello Rodriguez Pons has advanced to the second stage for LafargeHolcim Awards 2016/2017 for Sustainable Construction. The project is a sustainable winery in Valle de Alto Pencoso, San Luis called “Bodega Punta Jabali”. The claim of the LafargeHolcim Awards to be the world’s most significant competition in sustainable design is underlined by the diversity of entries from across all regions: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America and Middle East Africa with 3,574 projects from 131 countries.

The winners will be announced in the fourth quarter of the year, where prizes carrying a purse of USD 330,000 will be presented in each region. Representatives of each nominated project team that successfully passes the verification process will be invited to attend the respective two-day regional Awards ceremony.
